“General terms and conditions of sale
The “”HOTEL”” means the DIANA DEA LODGE – SGHE – registered with the Register of Companies and Trade of Saint Denis (La Reunion) under company number 505 325 803.
The “”CUSTOMER”” means the party entering into a contract with the hotel, whether such Customer acts directly on his or her own behalf or as an agent or via the intermediary of an agent or attorney.
The contract shall only become binding as between the Hotel and the Customer when the Customer has approved the relevant order via the payment platform and has received a confirmation message.
Payment in respect of any order shall be made upon placing such order.
Payment may be made:
Either by credit or debit card, including Carte Bleue, MasterCard, and Visa Upon placing the order, when the Customer is required to enter a card number and expiry date, the Customer will be redirected away from the Hotel’s website to a trusted, secure third party website. Information necessary to process the payment and collected that purpose will never be known to or retained by the Hotel.
Or by cheque, in which case the Customer may select “”cheque”” as the mode of payment and send a cheque made out to the Diana Dea Lodge at the following address: 94 chemin Helvetia, 97437, Sainte Anne, Réunion, specifying on the back of the check the Customer’s name and the order number, which the Hotel shall provide online. The Customer shall request the Hotel’s approval in respect of all orders in excess of €1,000 inclusive of all taxes. The Customer acknowledges a minimum period of five working days between the confirmation of purchase and the Hotel’s receipt of the cheque and approval of the order by the Hotel.
The Customer shall pay 100% of the amount due in respect of gift vouchers before such gift vouchers are issued.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The gift voucher is personal to the named recipient thereof.
The gift voucher may not be cancelled, refunded, changed, or transferred following issue.
The Hotel hereby draws the Customer’s attention to the fact that, in accordance with Article 1124 of the Civil Code, non-emancipated minors lack the capacity to enter into contracts. Accordingly, any orders for the benefit of persons who have not yet reached the age of majority must be undertaken on their behalf by an adult. In the event of accidental collection of personal data relating to a minor, any person holding parental authority over such minor has the right to object to the retention of such data.
The Hotel reserves the right to collect data in relation to the Customer in order to ensure that the Customer’s order is managed effectively and to enable the Customer to benefit from sales and marketing offers relating to the Hotel’s products and services. The Customer is hereby notified that this involves the automated processing of personal data, including without limitation the management of e-mail addresses. In accordance with the French law of 6 January 1978, the Customer has the right to access, correct, and delete any data in respect of him or her.
The gift voucher is valid for six months from the date of issue.
USE OF THE GIFT VOUCHER
In order to use the gift voucher, the Customer hall contact the Hotel, either by e-mail at email@example.com or by telephone on +262 200 202 between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., 7 days per week. Services offered via the gift voucher are subject to availability at the time of booking. The Customer shall notify the Hotel of the number of the gift voucher as recorded on such voucher. Following verification of the gift voucher, the Hotel shall confirm the booking of the services covered by the Voucher.
The Customer shall, on the day on which the services covered by the gift voucher are to be provided, provide the gift voucher and proof of identity.
Any dispute arising due to the interpretation or performance of this contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Commercial Court sitting at Saint Denis. “
